Jaime was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but her life journey truly began when she moved to Montreal at an early age. Raised in the vibrant and diverse culture of Montreal, Jaime developed a passion for storytelling and communication, which led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Communications at Ithaca College. There, she majored in TV, Radio, and Film, immersing herself in the world of media through hands-on experience at the campus radio and television stations, as well as at the Cornell University Radio station during her second, third, and fourth years.
Jaime's professional career in radio took off in Montreal, where she worked at CHOM-FM, followed by CHEZ-FM in Ottawa, and later KIK-FM in Calgary. One of her career highlights was signing on KIK-FM, a brand new radio station in Calgary, marking a significant milestone in her broadcasting journey. Jaime later transitioned into television, where she served as an entertainment host and reporter for CFAC, CBC, and CFCN in Calgary. One of her proudest moments was hosting a nightly entertainment report on CFCN News, where she captivated audiences with her engaging personality and insightful coverage of local and national entertainment.
In addition to her radio and television work, Jaime is also a talented freelance writer, contributing to various publications such as Calgary Tonight, Calgary Sun, and Action Magazine, focusing on entertainment and lifestyle topics. Her diverse career path also led her to explore roles in sales across advertising, publishing, and telecommunications, broadening her skill set and understanding of the media landscape.
Currently, Jaime is dedicated to bringing care and joy to seniors with dementia. This rewarding work allows her to connect with individuals on a personal level, making a positive impact in their lives. Through her professional journey, Jaime Wohl has exemplified a commitment to communication, creativity, and compassion, continuously finding ways to engage with and uplift those around her.
"I think the first 45 I bought was “I’m Free” by the Who. The flipside was See Me, Feel Me from Tommy.
The first album was Bridge Over Troubled Water in March of 1970.
My father’s friend Al worked for Warner Brothers in Toronto and I used to get promo copies of great albums all the time when I was growing up.
The first concert I attended was Gordon Lightfoot in Montreal in 1967. He played in the bandshell outside the Canadian pavilion at Expo 67 and waved to the people on the mini rail. My big sister took me.
New Music : I love the Last Dinner Party’s debut Prelude To Ecstasy from 2024. It’s stunning art pop that sounds familiar yet very fresh. Imagine Kate Bush and Ann Wilson taking turns fronting Queen with orchestration.
The last concert I attended was Bruce Springsteen at the Saddledome on November 16, 2024. It was my 7th time seeing Bruce!
One of the most memorable shows that I’ve seen was Joni Mitchell with Tom Scott and the LA Express at Montreal’s Place Des Nations on August 4th 1974. It was pouring rain and we had to wait until it was safe to start the outdoor show. Joni had just released her most popular album “Court and Spark” and this tour could be heard on her exquisite Miles Of Aisles live album. I won the tickets for the show by calling CHOM-FM to answer a trivia question."
Favourite lyric:
“I have heard the big music and I’ll never be the same.
Something so pure just called my name”.

Wes Erickson Eirich is a veteran in the radio and music industries with over 30 years of experience. In the wizarding world, he leans more towards Pinball than Potter, with a touch of Oz and Cheez mixed in. Wes's journey to becoming a Music Wizard began at the age of 19 when he got his first job in radio. He became the Music Director for every station he worked with, in a variety of music formats (Top 40 CHR, Album Oriented Rock, Adult Contemporary, Classic Rock & Contemporary Christian) culminating in senior management positions at 2 legendary Calgary radio stations, CJAY-FM and KIK-FM. He then went on to manage and direct Canada's #1 Christian music station, Shine-FM.
Wes's accolades include being named the Canadian Radio Personality of the Year in '86. He is also the creative mind behind two unique Internet music streaming platforms, CrAzYHoRsE and RADIOYYC.
When he's not wizarding music, Wes enjoys running, working out, playing hockey and indulging in craft beer (okay....any beer!) Since retiring, he now has even more time to dedicate to his lifelong passion—music.
