Dean Horning
Born in 1960 in Hamilton, Ontario, Dean Horning moved with his family to Calgary, where he has lived and built his life ever since.
After graduating from Lord Beaverbrook High School in 1978, he forged a successful career in the trades, becoming a master plumber and a respected business owner.
From 1998 until his retirement in 2025, Dean owned and operated Stampede Plumbing, one of Calgary’s leading plumbing companies.
A proud grandfather who deeply values family time, Dean stays active year-round.
He plays in the Calgary 55+ Hockey League, where his vision as a playmaker and competitive spirit make him a favorite teammate. An avid golfer, camper, and outdoor enthusiast, he loves escaping into nature with friends and family whenever he can.
Music has always been a constant and vital passion in Dean’s life. Whether discovering new artists or revisiting the songs that shaped his journey, he brings genuine enthusiasm and great taste to his role as a guest curator on Music Wizard

Bills illustrious radio career included on air positions at some legendary Canadian stations.
CFOM Quebec City, CHAM Hamilton, CKXL Calgary, CFUN Vancouver, CFTR Toronto, CKSL London, Q107 Toronto, CFRB Toronto, Talk640 Toronto, The Fan 590 and TSN 1050 Toronto.
He also hosted Countdown Canada, Private Sessions, Classic Rock Almanac and 12 NHL drafts.
As one of Canada’s top voice over artists he was the voice for.... Mazda, The Bay, The Rolling Stones World Tour and one of their movies, ToysRUs, Xerox, and many more.
Bill has been married for 45 years to Margaret, his best friend and they live in Toronto.
They have 3 children (Annie is a teacher, Bryan is the host of Overdrive on TSN and Gillian is a lawyer) and 7 amazing grandchildren!

Who's behind the curtain?
Wes Erickson Eirich is a veteran in the radio and music industries with over 30 years of experience. In the wizarding world, he leans more towards Pinball than Potter, with a touch of Oz and Cheez mixed in. Wes's journey to becoming a Music Wizard began at the age of 19 when he got his first job in radio. He became the Music Director for every station he worked with, in a variety of music formats (Top 40 CHR, Album Oriented Rock, Adult Contemporary, Classic Rock & Contemporary Christian) culminating in senior management positions at 2 legendary Calgary radio stations, CJAY-FM and KIK-FM. He then went on to manage and direct Canada's #1 Christian music station, Shine-FM.
Wes's accolades include being named the Canadian Radio Personality of the Year in '86. He is also the creative mind behind two unique Internet music streaming platforms, CrAzYHoRsE and RADIOYYC.
When he's not wizarding music, Wes enjoys running, working out, playing hockey and indulging in craft beer (okay....any beer!) Since retiring, he now has even more time to dedicate to his lifelong passion—music.
